Star Puppy is an exciting program designed to get dog owners and their puppies off to a good start.  It not only starts getting your puppy socialized, but it provides a good lead-in to earning the Canine Good Citizen title.

Starting young and taking your puppy to training classes teaches you how best to communicate with your new 4 legged buddy.

If you sign up for STAR Puppy training, you will attend class once a week for 6 weeks.  You will be given homework at the end of each class.  At the end of the course you and your puppy will go through the AKC S.T.A.R. Puppy test.  Upon passing the test, you'll get an application to send to AKC for enrollment in the AKC S.T.A.R Puppy Program.

• 4-6 foot leash, with traffic handle is preferred.  NO retractable leashes
• Martingale or Starmark Training Collar
• High Value Treats

$500 for 8 weeks of Private Training OR

$400 for 8  weeks of Group Training

Must be up to date on all shots

Group Training classes start every 8 weeks (See K9 Events page for next 

class)

All commands will be verbal and non-verbal. 

Handler MUST provide their own treats and waste bags
