Absolutely, we offer an Owner / Self Training program.  Dogs should be under the age of 3 and be able to pass a Temperament Assessment prior to the first day of class. 

Currently, there is no state or federal requirement for certification or registration of service dogs.  To qualify as a service dog, the dog needs to be individually trained to do work or perform tasks for a person with a disability and also have the appropriate behavior in public.  We offer classes for those who would like to train their own dogs.

Currently there is no training for an Emotional Support Animal (ESA).  A dog whose sole function is to provide comfort or emotional support are not considered Service Dogs and per the American's with Disabilities Act (ADA) do not have the same rights as a dog who has been tasked trained.

No, while our founder's passion is children we have expanded to Veterans, First Responders, Law Enforcement, and Civilians.

There are a few reasons to have a Doctor's note for obtaining a service dog.

1. Help defend yourself in case you have to go to court
2. If you press charges or report a business that decides to not follow the ADA
3. In case you are challenged at an airport with your Service Dog
