Meet The Trainers

Hi, I’m Madi one of the trainers here at BackroadsK9.
I’m currently in EMT school and recently moved back to Georgia after spending time living in Colorado. Even with everything going on, dog training has stayed something I truly enjoy. It gives me an outlet outside of school and a way to stay connected to something I’m passionate about.

Outside of training and EMT classes, I’m usually with my dog Kuma. He’s a Dogo Argentino and Black-Mouthed Cur mix, and he’s currently being trained as my service dog for disruptive behavior and tachycardia alerting. He keeps me laughing, challenged, and busy he’s my awful, rotten, ungrateful son, and I love him anyway.

When I’m not with Kuma, I’m usually at local concerts, taking photos, or just enjoying time with friends and family. BackroadsK9 gives me a space to keep doing what I love and to help other dogs and families along the way.

Hi, I’m Magiee one of the trainers here at BackroadsK9.
I’m currently a student at the University of West Georgia, double majoring while also working full-time. Even with a busy schedule, dog training is something I always make time for. It never feels like “extra work” it’s something I genuinely enjoy.

Outside of school, work, and training, I spend most of my time with my German Shepherd, Lucas. He’s the dog who really pushed me to learn more about communication and training. Lucas has taught me patience, structure, and the importance of understanding each dog as an individual.

When I’m not with Lucas, I’m usually with friends and family or enjoying the simple things in life. BackroadsK9 gives me a space to bring together everything I’ve learned from school, work, and my own dogs and use it to help other families and their pups.

Hi, I’m Ally one of the trainers here at BackroadsK9. I work at Carroll County Animal Hospital, and animals have always been my passion. I love training, dog sitting, and being around dogs in any way I can. My dog Tank has been my best friend and one of the best things to happen to me. He’s a rescue and truly the best boy ever. Working with him is what sparked my love for training and showed me how rewarding it is to help dogs grow and feel understood. I’m especially passionate about helping misunderstood breeds like pit mixes, Cane Corsos, and other big “scary” dogs who deserve patience and a chance. In my free time, I’m usually with my dogs, friends, or family. BackroadsK9 has helped me realize my passion and given me an outlet to do what I truly enjoy.
